From Our Clients

In their own words

"We came to Bramwick needing an adequate procedures review in a fairly short window before our next board audit. The team was thorough without being overwhelming — they identified gaps we genuinely had not noticed, and the policy framework they helped us develop has held up well since."

"The energy team helped us with a joint venture agreement that had to account for a twenty-year production timeline. I appreciated that Priya understood the commercial realities of the sector — not just the legal language. The drafting was careful and the process was manageable."

"Zulaikha handled my endorsement contract negotiation and I cannot fault how she approached it. She understood what the deal meant to me beyond the numbers and made sure the terms reflected that. Clear, patient, and very well-prepared."

"We needed internal investigation support when a compliance concern was raised. The matter was handled with the discretion it needed — no unnecessary escalation, clear legal framing throughout. Rafi's guidance was measured and exactly what the situation called for."

"The renewable energy licensing work was more complex than I initially realised. Bramwick was straightforward with us about what it involved and what it would cost. There were no surprises on the bill and the work was solid. I felt like we were always kept in the picture."

Case Studies

Engagements in detail

Three examples of how Bramwick has worked through complex legal matters with clients — shared in general terms to protect confidentiality.

Governance Advisory — Manufacturing Sector

The Situation

A mid-size manufacturing company approached Bramwick following changes in enforcement focus under MACC Section 17A. Senior leadership was uncertain whether their existing procedures would withstand scrutiny if a compliance concern arose.

Our Approach

We conducted a structured adequate procedures gap assessment across six key areas, including third-party due diligence, internal reporting channels, and leadership accountability. We worked with both the legal and operational teams to understand how existing policies actually functioned day-to-day.

Outcome

A revised policy framework was developed and adopted within ten weeks. The company has since implemented training based on the framework with positive reception from staff. Duration of engagement: 8 weeks.

Energy Law — Joint Venture Structuring

The Situation

Two partners in a renewable energy development project required a joint venture agreement that could accommodate evolving equity positions, different risk tolerances at different project phases, and regulatory reporting obligations to the Energy Commission.

Our Approach

We worked iteratively with both parties — separately at first, then jointly — to understand where the genuine interests diverged and where they aligned. The agreement was structured to accommodate phase-triggered equity adjustments and included clear protocols for regulatory reporting and dispute resolution.

Outcome

The JV agreement was executed and the project has since progressed through its initial development phase without legal disputes between the parties. Duration of engagement: 14 weeks.

Sports Law — Career Contract Portfolio

The Situation

A professional athlete with growing commercial interest was managing multiple endorsement enquiries simultaneously without legal representation. The terms being offered varied significantly and some contained provisions that could limit future commercial freedom.

Our Approach

We reviewed all active proposals, identified the problematic clauses across each, and helped the client understand the trade-offs in plain language. Negotiations were conducted with reference to what the client actually wanted from each arrangement — not just minimum legal protection.

Outcome

Three endorsement agreements were finalised with improved terms, including revised exclusivity windows and improved royalty structures. Duration of engagement: 5 weeks across all three agreements.
